This Refund Policy governs payments made to Incredible Chess Academy (“Academy”, “we”, “our”, “us”) for coaching, courses, classes, camps, tournaments, and products.

By enrolling or purchasing, you agree to this policy.

1. Coaching (1-to-1)

Monthly or package coaching fees are generally non-refundable once sessions have commenced.

If a refund is requested within 7 days of starting and fewer than two sessions have been used, the Academy may, at its discretion, provide a partial refund for unused sessions.

After this period, fees are non-refundable.

2. Group Classes

Group classes are batch-based with fixed schedules.

If a student withdraws after the batch has started:

  • Fees are non-refundable
  • Missed classes are not compensated
  • Recordings may be provided where available

3. Courses and Recorded Programs

Digital courses or recorded training programs are non-refundable once access has been granted.

4. Missed Sessions

No refund applies for sessions missed by the student without required notice, as defined in the Terms of Service.

5. Academy Cancellation

If a session is cancelled by the Academy, it will be:

  • rescheduled, OR
  • replaced, OR
  • carried forward

Refunds are not normally issued where replacement is provided.

6. Camps and Workshops

Camp or workshop fees may have specific refund timelines communicated at registration.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Cancellation by participant → non-refundable after confirmation
  • Cancellation by Academy → full or proportional refund

7. Tournaments and Events

Tournament or event entry fees are non-refundable after registration confirmation, except if the event is cancelled by the Academy.

8. Products and Materials

Physical products may be eligible for replacement or refund only if:

  • defective, OR
  • damaged in delivery, OR
  • incorrect item supplied

Requests must be made within 48 hours of delivery with proof.

Digital materials are non-refundable once delivered.

9. Payment Errors

Duplicate payments or incorrect charges will be fully refunded after verification.

10. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, subject to payment provider timelines.

11. Discretion

All refunds are subject to Academy review and approval consistent with this policy.
