2nd Online Incredible Chess Tournament 2021
Incredible Chess Academy founded by Fide Instructor Atul Dahale is really happy to invite all the players from all over the world to participate in 2nd Online ICA Tournament 2021!

Day 1) 13th November 2021.
The Tournament will be played in two formats.
Day 1) 13th November 2021.
Format: Swiss League
No. of Rounds: 9 (Automatic pairings will be done by Chess.com)
Time Control: 3 mins + 1 sec increment per move.
Time: 7 pm IST
The top 8 players will qualify to play the Knock-out stage of the tournament on Day 2 i.e. on 14th November 2021.
Day 2: 14th November 2021. Time: @ 7 pm IST
Knock-out format rules:
The top 8 players will play the Quarterfinals.
Losers from the Quarterfinals will be given the rankings 5, 6, 7, and 8 in descending order of their opponent’s standard Fide rating.
For example: The player who loses to the highest rated player will be ranked 5th.
The Quater finals and Semifinals will be played in 2 game match format with 3 min + 2-sec increment from move 1 with alternate colors. If the score gets tied then the tie will be resolved with the Armageddon game.
Armageddon game will be played with 5 min to the White player and 4 minutes to the Black player with Black odds. (Draw is sufficient for the black player to advance in next stage/ to win the tournament where White needs to win to advance)
There will not be any increment in an Armageddon match.
The Finals will be played in 2 game match format with 5 min + 2-sec increment from move 1 with alternate colors. If the score gets tied then the tie will be resolved with the Armageddon game.
Eligibility: The tournament is open to all players. (Indians as well as foreigners)

Entry Fee: Rs 350/- (Only for Indian Citizens)
Last date of registration: 12th November, 6 pm IST.

Name, Chess.com ID, FIDE Id, Fide Title.
How to Register?
1) Registration and payment of entry fee can be done on https://incrediblechess.com/tournament-registration
2) Upon verifying and confirming your registration form and entry fee we will add you in the 2nd ICA Tournament club, where the tournament will be played.
3) We will add every registered player in tournament club after all the registrations are closed.
4) Tournament link will be live 1 hr before the start of the event i.e at 6 pm. IST. You must click on Join button once the tournament link is live. Then only you will be able to play the tournament.
5) Once you are added in the club you can find the tournament link in "Upcoming Events"
6) You can check the Confirmed player's list on our website which will be updated every 24 hours.
Important:
1) Filling up the registration form is mandatory to claim the prizes.
2) One player will get only one prize.
3) Foreign players must have a PayPal account to claim the prizes. We will send you the prize money through PayPal (in USD equivalent to INR prize money, the PayPal commission needs to be bourn by the players)
3) Prizes will be announced/confirmed only after the approval of the Chess.com Fair Play Committee. (FPC) It may take up to 72 hours after the completion of the tournament.
4) Tournament is open to all players.
5) Organizer's decision will be final and binding on all.
6) Top 8 players must join the Livestream and should be available in post-game analysis/interview.
Fair Play Committee:
1) The decision of Chess.com FPC is final and binding. No appeal can be made against the decision of FPC at any forum/court. If any player found violated fair play regulation, he/she will be expelled from the championship.
2) Neither Incredible Chess Academy, nor the hosting Internet Platform claims that the determination of a suspected fair play violation is proof of actual cheating or an admission of guilt by the disqualified player.
3) No external help or cheating will be entertained. Cheating will lead to forfeiting of PRIZE, if any and the player will be BANNED from future ICA tournaments!
Video Conferencing System (Zoom) Arbiters:
1) Players must be present in a designated Zoom video call and the Zoom conferencing platform will be recorded by the organizer.
2) Assigned arbiters will be monitoring the players!
3) The organizer will appoint a team of arbiters including chief arbiter.
4) Chief Arbiter : International Arbiter Vivek Sohani.
5) We will send you the necessary details about Zoom links one day before the tournament i.e. on 13th November, 2021 (By 2pm IST) through email. Kindly Check for the updates.
6) Top 8 players must have 2 cameras, 1 Front camera, 2nd Rear camera.
